Energy Savings Assistance Program

This program is available to both renters and home owners. You could be eligible to receive home improvements that can save you energy at no cost through the Energy Savings Assistance Program. Some of the home improvements may include:

  • Attic Insulation

  • Energy-efficient lights

  • Door weather-stripping

  • Caulking

  • Minor Home repairs

  • Low-flow showerheads

  • Water heater blankets

  • Smart thermostat

Repair & Replace

Homeowners may qualify for a repair or replacement of their existing AC unit. Renters and home owners may also qualify for an AC tune-up.

How do you qualify?

Qualifications are based on income and household size or by participation in certain public assistance programs.

Qualifying public assistance programs:

  • Medicaid/Medi-Cal for Families A & B

  • CalFresh (food stamps) SNAP

  • Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)

  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance

  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

  • National School Lunch Program (NSLP)

  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • CalWORKs (TANF) or Tribal TANF
